The apartment is very nice and is close to the ocean with a great view from the terrace.
We arrived on Wednesday for 10 days. Now on Friday for breakfast we heard very late knocking and work with demolition hammers. It was so loud that we couldn't have a conversation. An apartment next door is being completely renovated. We complained immediately. The landlady promised us that she would sort it out and the work should stop shortly. It went on like this for a few more hours. We were promised again that it would stop. Unfortunately the same thing next day. We were offered another apartment but with an additional payment and only from Monday (we didn't work on Sunday). We should accept 2 days of noise + partial Mondays + additional payment. We didn't do that and found a new apartment from Monday. The reservation was canceled, but we were charged the full amount for the 5 days! By the way - you cannot send a video or audio file to Booking - only photos and PDF.
The apartment is very nice but won't really be enjoyable for the next few weeks or months. Hands off!
